Unlike other mouse repellent apps, this app uses many different ultrasonic frequencies to scare away mice and rats in a unique way. The timing and frequencies are completely randomized, so that an animal cannot get ‘used to’ the sound – which is the main problem with other apps.
Make sure you turn your phone’s media volume to maximum – or even better, connect your phone to external speakers for more power. To make sure the app does not sleep because of Android’s battery-saver, just leave the screen on and keep your phone charging to scare away most varieties of rodent and potentially other pests too. Unlike other similar apps, this app has a built-in screensaver and NO ads 🙂
Most of the frequencies are too high for humans to be able to hear, so it should not disturb your sleep. But you can adjust the minimum and maximum frequencies, if necessary. We suggest running this app near where you keep food – you could run the app near where mice try to get into your property, but they may just find another way in.
We recommend you use an old spare phone to run this app, so that you can leave it running somewhere 24/7. To verify it’s working (if you can’t hear it), you could use a spectrum analyzer, such as this one.
